An API integration can range from a fairly simple REST API with great documentation to working with a non-standard SOAP XML API written in Portuguese with German error messages and little-to-no documentation (you should ask us about that story). Here are ClikFocus' top 3 favorite API's that we like to work with:

1. Recurly

Recurly is a subscription billing service. The big advantage to using Recurly is the way it handles the upgrade and downgrade process of users on a subscription based website.  API Documentation.

2. Salesforce

This is one of the most popular CRM's of all time. Salesforce make is pretty easy to integrate with the API. Although you need to have a pretty pricey subscription to use their API, it is by far one of the most popular requests we get. API Documentation.

3. Pardot

Rounding out the top 3, Pardot is a marketing automation service that has been one of the most popular integrations with Drupal that we have done over the past year.  API Documentation.
